◘ What is Minor Account ? What happen thereafter ?

If the age of account holder is below 18, the bank will treat that account as a minor account. For kids below 10, then account has to be jointly operated with the parent or guardian, but later on if the child’s age is between 10 and 18, the account can be operated by the child. In future on crossing the age of 18, the account may be converted into a regular savings account and the parent cannot operate it thereafter. Now the account holder have full access of ways of using accounts. UPI payment will also provide to the account holder in case of need.
